SOIL MANAGMENT	During the winter months we spend a lot of time working on soil management. We believe soil testing and analyzing is the first and possibly the most critical step in planning the next seasons crop production. On some fields we use global positioning equipment to map and separate the nutrient needs of the crop. We use variable rate controllers to apply the proper amount of inputs where needed.

CROP GROWTH	Between planting and harvest considerable time is spent protecting crop growth. We use many different methods of management to assure the crops are healthy. By utilizing the advice of professionals, we are constantly searching for plant diseases that may hinder the productiveness of the crop. We do not use the same herbicide program on all fields. Herbicides are selected by the needs of each individual field. On some fields we apply additional nutrients, as needed, to help increase plant production.
HARVESTING	Timely harvesting is important to maximize returns.
